"He doesn’t understand my obsession with watches."

Amongst a variety of other vintage pieces, my Dad owns a Certina Certidate, which I believe was his Father’s timepiece passed down to him. At the tender age of 4 years old, I took the watch, placed it in my mouth and bit down as hard as I could - as you do. Suffice to say, it split the plexiglass! It has since been repaired and he wears it most days. Strangely though, he doesn’t understand my obsession with watches.
