Patek Philippe Unveils Unique Hand-Engraved Ref. 5711 Nautilus for Charity Auction
Patek Philippe has introduced a one-of-a-kind Ref. 5711/1500A Nautilus, crafted in stainless steel and featuring intricate hand-engraved detailing inspired by Maori culture. This exclusive piece will be auctioned at the upcoming Children Action Gala in Geneva on November 25, 2024. The model’s engraved design extends across both the case and bracelet, offering a rare aesthetic that blends cultural homage with the classic Nautilus form.
An Opportunity for Collectors and Philanthropists
This unique Ref. 5711 holds particular appeal for collectors, as Patek Philippe discontinued its steel Nautilus series three years ago. The watch’s dark grey dial, with a hint of brown, is complemented by matching hand-engraved cufflinks in a similar gradient. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Children Action, a Swiss foundation founded in 1994 by financier Bernard Sabrier, which has supported over 215,000 children globally.
Celebrating 30 Years of Children Action
This year’s Children Action Gala, held biannually, marks the foundation’s 30th anniversary. Phillips Auction House, led by the famed auctioneer Aurel Bacs, will oversee the bidding, promising an event that unites both horological passion and charitable spirit.
