Breguet Appoints Gregory Kissling as New CEO
Breguet and its President, Marc Hayek, are pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory Kissling as the new CEO, effective from October 1, 2024. Kissling's appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for the renowned watchmaking house, aimed at further strengthening Breguet's international presence.
Gregory Kissling, an engineer specialised in microtechnology, also holds an MBA and a Master’s degree in luxury management. He joined Swatch Group over two decades ago, with a significant part of his career spent at Omega. In 2022, he was appointed Vice President responsible for product development, during which he made notable contributions recognised for their technical innovation and aesthetic excellence. Known for his leadership skills, Kissling's expertise and strategic vision are expected to play a vital role in shaping Breguet's future direction.
Kissling succeeds Lionel a Marca, who is moving to Blancpain while also taking on responsibilities for overseeing manufacturing within Swatch Group's high-end division. This leadership change represents an important shift in Swatch Group's strategic focus on enhancing its luxury watch brands.
