Bleu Nuit Ceramic Defines the New Royal Oak

The case, bezel, crown and integrated bracelet are all made from ceramic in the Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50 shade.

The ceramic surfaces alternate between polished and satin-brushed finishes. The case measures 41 mm in diameter and 10.6 mm thick, while water resistance is rated to 50 metres.

The front of the watch is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. At the back, a sapphire crystal provides a view of the movement, with the caseback secured by a titanium frame.

The integrated ceramic bracelet is fitted with a titanium folding clasp.

Grande Tapisserie Dial and Flying Tourbillon

The deep blue colour continues across the dial, which features Audemars Piguet's Grande Tapisserie pattern.

Applied white-gold hour markers are paired with Royal Oak hands filled with luminescent material. The flying tourbillon occupies the lower section of the dial, providing a clear view of the complication from the front of the watch.

The matching dial and ceramic exterior give the new reference a consistent Bleu Nuit appearance across the case, bracelet and face of the watch.

Calibre 2950 Delivers a 65-Hour Power Reserve

The Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Bleu Nuit Nuage Ceramic is powered by Audemars Piguet's manufacture calibre 2950.

The automatic movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of 65 hours.

Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the movement displays traditional decorative finishing including Geneva waves, circular graining and polished bevels.

A rhodium-plated rotor made from 22-carat gold completes the visible movement architecture.

Reference 26730CD Joins the Permanent Royal Oak Collection

The new Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Bleu Nuit Nuage Ceramic 26730CD will join the permanent Royal Oak collection.

Its combination of a 41 mm Bleu Nuit ceramic case, matching integrated bracelet, Grande Tapisserie dial and manufacture calibre 2950 brings the historic deep blue colour to the Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon range for the first time.

Audemars Piguet has not announced an official price for the new reference. The model combines the historic Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50 colour with ceramic construction, a flying tourbillon and the distinctive integrated design of the Royal Oak.
