Jacob & Co. Introduces the Angel Cut Diamond
Jacob & Co. has unveiled a newly patented diamond cut known as the Angel Cut, marking a significant development in the brand’s jewellery expertise as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.
The creation of the Angel Cut required two years of development. Its name references Angela, the wife of founder Jacob Arabo, while the stone’s 37 facets symbolise the length of their marriage, adding a personal dimension to the concept.

A Distinctive Approach to Light and Form
The Angel Cut has been designed to maximise light return while maintaining a controlled brilliance. Its structure combines a rhombus-shaped table with a stepped rectangular outline, reducing light absorption and creating an even glow across the surface of the diamond.
Debut in the Billionaire Double Tourbillon
The first timepieces to feature the new cut appear within the Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut, reflecting Jacob & Co.’s approach to high jewellery watchmaking.
The watch is housed in a white gold case measuring 54 by 41 mm and set with 98 diamonds totalling 51.13 carats. The dial incorporates 88 Angel Cut diamonds alongside 80 baguette-cut stones, arranged around two symmetrically positioned tourbillons.
In total, nearly 300 white diamonds are used throughout the watch, with a combined weight of approximately 79 carats.
Movement and Technical Details
Powering the model is the JCAM50 calibre, a hand-wound movement composed of 460 components. It features two tourbillons positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock.
The movement offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The watch is paired with a blue alligator leather strap fitted with a white gold folding clasp.
Limited Production
The Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut is produced in a limited edition of 18 pieces worldwide.
With the introduction of the Angel Cut, Jacob & Co. continues to develop its presence in high jewellery watchmaking, combining technical execution with a personal narrative.
