TAG Heuer Releases Formula 1 Indy 500 Solargraph Limited Edition
TAG Heuer has presented a new addition to the Formula 1 collection dedicated to the Indianapolis 500, also known simply as the Indy 500.
The watch is aimed at an audience engaging with motorsport culture beyond the race circuit itself. TAG Heuer also takes into account current trends and the growing presence of women within racing culture, reflected in the model’s compact 38 mm case.

Sandblasted Steel Case with Indy 500 Details
The watch features a sandblasted stainless steel case paired with a matching three-link steel bracelet. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres.
Both the dial and caseback display the Indy 500 logo. The caseback also features a brick-pattern engraving referencing the famous brick finish line at the Indianapolis circuit used by generations of racing drivers.
A black dial contrasts with a brown minute track, while the texture of the case recalls the functional surfaces of racing cars.
TH-Polylight Bezel and Solargraph Technology
The lightweight bidirectional bezel is produced in TH-Polylight plastic.
Large hands and applied hour markers filled with white Super-LumiNova ensure strong visibility even in poor lighting conditions. The shield-shaped markers at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock directly reference the visual codes of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection.
Power comes from the Solargraph movement, which uses both natural and artificial light as a virtually unlimited energy source. One minute of direct sunlight provides enough energy for a full day of operation.
A complete charge requires at least 40 hours of light exposure and allows the watch to continue running for up to 10 months in total darkness.
If the movement stops completely, the watch can restart after only 10 seconds of exposure to light.
Limited to 1,110 Pieces
TAG Heuer states that the Solargraph battery is designed to last approximately 15 years.
Production of the Formula 1 Indy 500 Solargraph Limited Edition is limited to 1,110 examples worldwide.
Approximate retail pricing is set at USD 2,250.
