Hublot Introduces Spirit of Big Bang Essential Taupe Models
Hublot has unveiled the fifth model in its Essential series, continuing the monochromatic concept first introduced in 2022. Rather than existing as a separate collection within the brand’s catalogue, the Essential line brings together watches defined by neutral and timeless colour palettes.
The series originally focused on grey tones, with three Essential Grey models released during its early years. Since last year, the line has expanded with watches presented in the elegant grey-brown shade known as Taupe.

Two New Models in the Spirit of Big Bang Case
The Spirit of Big Bang Essential Taupe series includes two watches housed in Hublot’s signature tonneau-shaped Spirit of Big Bang case.
Both models feature Taupe-coloured dials and matching straps. Each watch is supplied with two interchangeable strap options: a rubber strap and a fabric strap fitted with a Velcro fastening system.
Steel Three-Hand Model with Sunray Dial
The first version is a three-hand model with date display housed in a satin-finished steel case measuring 32 mm by 10.8 mm.
Its dial features a sunray guilloché finish in the Taupe shade, while power comes from the HUB1120 automatic calibre offering a power reserve of up to 40 hours.
Titanium Chronograph in Forged Carbon
The second model is a chronograph housed in a titanium case measuring 42 mm by 14.1 mm.
Its dial, decorated with a chequerboard pattern, is crafted from forged carbon. The watch is powered by the HUB4700 automatic calibre with a 50-hour power reserve.
Limited Editions with Extended Warranty
Both models are limited to 200 pieces each and will be available exclusively online through Hublot’s official website.
The watches are also covered by the Hublot 5+5 programme, extending the international warranty to 10 years.
Approximate pricing is set at EUR 14,600 for the three-hand model and EUR 24,300 for the chronograph.
