Audemars Piguet Opens New Manufacture in Le Brassus
On 26 January 2026, Audemars Piguet officially inaugurated a new production facility in Le Brassus. The 23,700 square metre complex has been designed to centralise operations while reinforcing the brand’s long term commitment to sustainability and technological innovation.
The building can accommodate up to 700 employees and combines open plan workspaces with quieter zones and traditional offices, reflecting contemporary approaches to collaboration and concentration within a manufacturing environment.

The “Arc” and Industry 4.0
Distinguished by its 321 metre curved façade, the structure has been nicknamed the Arc. The project, developed by the Geneva based architectural firm de Giuli & Portier and completed over three years, follows Industry 4.0 principles, integrating advanced digital systems and automation into the production process.
Among the key features are electrochromic glass panels that automatically adjust to light levels and temperature, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency. A modern storage system operated by 66 robots delivers components directly to workshops, improving inventory management and reducing production lead times.
Sustainability at the Core
The facility has been awarded Minergie ECO certification and incorporates several renewable energy solutions. These include heat recovery systems, wood based heating and photovoltaic panels.
A green roof supports local biodiversity, while structural elements designed to mitigate flood risks and protect birdlife help reduce the building’s environmental footprint.
Located adjacent to Le Brassus railway station, the site benefits from convenient public transport access. It also provides charging points for electric vehicles and shared parking facilities available to local residents.
With this new manufacture, Audemars Piguet aims to streamline production, enhance operational efficiency and align its industrial infrastructure with contemporary environmental standards.
