Barrington Special Edition Single Winder - Grey Koto

I purchased this machine after a great deal of research into winders. I like the fact that they are a UK based company, with the added attraction of being close to home. It works like a dream and the setting up couldn't be simpler,,
One is hardly aware of the machine winding due to the almost silent mechanism. Highly recommended.

The watch winder looks great with piano black gloss finish. Motors nice and quiet and the variable rotations and directions means it's suitable for different watch movements. Looks impressive in the room and attracts attention with subtle lighting. Really pleased.

My winder needed a small repair. The company couldn’t have been more helpful, repair done very quickly and at very reasonable cost. Not often you get such great customer service.

Beautiful watch winder. Very easy to programme. Very silent and looks amazing. However, the fingerprint lock malfunctioned after a week or so. What happened thereafter is a case study of how a company standing behind their products should treat customers. They brought a new one on a Sunday, yes har to believe but on a Sunday, collected the old one. As this was not enough, they brought along two watch carry boxes for free as a token of apology for the inconvenience I experienced. Look no further, have no second thoughts. Beautiful and highly functional user friendly watch winders sold by an exemplary company

After doing some research and reading the reviews this stood out amongst the rest and after receiving the product I have have to say I agree with the reviews and cannot fault the double winder.
Setting it up was also a breeze and the functions are straight forward like changing the settings for different TPD as I need to do.
One of my watches is slightly tight on the cushions that are supplied with the winder, the has the leather strap on at the minute which fits fine but may not when I put the bracelet back on however this isn't an issue as they do have smaller cushions which which I will probably look to buy in the near future to see if they fit better. I wouldn't even call this a minor issue as it is easily resolved and is only an issue if you have small wrists.

Customer service is also amazing answering my questions without any issues and delivery was quick with the winder very well packaged.

I highly recommend this winder.

My biggest concern when purchasing was what quality the foam cushion was going to be. Figured it would be just some basic foam padding. It is actually really nice, pliable, yet firm and sturdy. Superb quality, just like everything else Barrington makes. Currently using to make swapping watches in the winder easier until I can grab another single winder (also fantastic quality). Holding out to see if there are any "Black Friday" deals to snag a couple more single winders for myself and for gifts.

I was about to purchase a 6 watch winder when I spotted a virtually unused one for sale elsewhere at an unmissable price. It arrived in perfect condition but without any instructions. I reluctantly contacted Barrington's customer services with my queries but expecting no real assistance because of the nature of the acquisition. I couldn't have been more wrong, I spoke with Sean (O'Farrell) the company founder who went out of his way to answer all my questions, even after I had disclosed that I had purchased it elsewhere. An incredibly helpful person with an obvious passion for the products which is most reassuring for the future, I have no hesitation in recommending Barrington watch winders especially as mine, thanks to Sean, is now working perfectly and is a pleasure to use.
