Oris Unveils the Divers Sixty-Five ‘White Star’: A Crisp Take on the Classic Cotton Candy Collection

Oris has introduced a new addition to its Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy series with the “White Star” model, offering a classic, monochrome option to the line that traditionally featured colorful dials.

The "White Star" carries the hallmarks of Oris’s retro-inspired Cotton Candy watches, notably its modest 38mm bronze case and a pure white dial, which aligns with the simplicity trend that some watchmakers are embracing. This white dial is intended to evoke a winter theme, adding a seasonal twist to the collection known for its summer-inspired color pops.

The design includes round and rectangular hour markers, large, legible hands, and a date display positioned at 6 o'clock. For enhanced visibility in varying light conditions, the hands and markers are coated with Superluminova.

Structurally, the watch maintains the classic features of the Divers Sixty-Five line, boasting a 100-meter water resistance, a unidirectional rotating bezel with a minute scale in relief, and a three-link bronze bracelet. The bronze crown and case add to its retro charm, complemented by a stainless steel case back.

Powering the watch is the Oris Caliber 733, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200-1. This movement features both an instantaneous date change and a stop-seconds function, essential for precision time-setting.

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy Date “White Star” retails for approximately $3,300 USD.
