Omega Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026
A commemorative release unveiled one hundred days before the Winter Games
The countdown to the 2026 Winter Olympics has begun, and Omega marks the occasion with a dedicated edition of the Speedmaster. The brand has served as the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932, and each cycle brings a new commemorative creation. The Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026 continues this long standing tradition as the spotlight shifts towards Italy, where Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo will host the forthcoming event.

A tribute to the host cities of the 2026 Winter Olympics
The Winter Games will comprise 116 events across eight sports and sixteen disciplines, all timed by Omega using its latest generation of precision equipment. The special edition Speedmaster has been conceived as a celebration of the host venues and the visual identity of the Games.
The watch is presented in a fully polished stainless steel case measuring 38 millimetres in diameter, 14.75 millimetres in height and approximately 45 millimetres from lug to lug. The bezel features a blue ceramic insert with a tachymeter scale rendered in white enamel, producing a crisp contrast and reinforcing the thematic colour palette.

A dial inspired by the official Games emblem
The lacquered white dial carries a pale blue matte finish that draws inspiration from the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem. The date window at six o’clock highlights the number 26 in a distinctive typeface, an understated reminder of the year of the Games.
A notable departure from the standard Speedmaster 38 format lies in the circular chronograph sub dials, which replace the usual oval counters. The applied hour markers and hands are finished in blue, creating a coherent visual scheme. The central chronograph seconds hand is executed with a gradient that transitions from a light icy tone to deep blue, adding a dynamic accent without compromising legibility.
The caseback is engraved with the official logo of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, underscoring the commemorative nature of the piece.

A movement aligned with modern Speedmaster engineering
The watch is powered by the Omega calibre 3330, a chronometer certified automatic movement equipped with a co axial escapement, a silicon balance spring and a column wheel mechanism for the chronograph. It offers a power reserve of 52 hours. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres, which exceeds the usual rating of the classic Moonwatch and contributes to the model’s versatility.
Other distinctions from the Moonwatch include redesigned chronograph pushers featuring stepped profiles that harmonise with the more compact case dimensions.

Bracelet, presentation and pricing
The stainless steel bracelet is fitted with an adjustment system that allows an additional two millimetres of length to be added for comfort during warmer conditions. The watch is delivered in special commemorative packaging and is not a limited edition.
The model is priced at 6700 euros including 21 percent VAT or 6800 US dollars before taxes.
The Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026 stands as a refined tribute to Omega’s long association with the Olympic Games, combining event specific design cues with the technical hallmarks of the modern Speedmaster line.
