MB&F Celebrates 20th Anniversary with a Generous Timepiece Giveaway
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, MB&F has announced a unique initiative for its community of collectors. The independent Geneva-based watchmaker, founded by Maximilian Büsser in 2005, is marking two decades of creative horology by giving away twenty commemorative watches. Ten pieces of each of two special anniversary models will be awarded through a free lottery.

Two models for two collector groups
The giveaway includes the M.A.D.1S 20th Anniversary Edition and the LM101 Longhorn 20th Anniversary Edition, both created to honour MB&F’s milestone year. Unlike earlier lotteries organised by the brand, this one does not require a purchase. Winners will receive their watches completely free of charge.
The M.A.D.1S 20th Anniversary Edition will be raffled among those who previously entered M.A.D.1 lotteries without success. The model features a grey and black dial palette with a blue ring above the lateral time display, while the time scale replaces Arabic numerals with Roman numerals. It retains the distinctive M.A.D.1 concept, displaying time along the case’s periphery with a visible rotor on the dial side.
The LM101 Longhorn 20th Anniversary Edition will be offered only to members of The Tribe, MB&F’s private owners’ club. This model comes in a 40 mm stainless steel case and is powered by a movement developed and finished under the supervision of independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. At the centre of the dial is the signature suspended balance wheel, positioned between the sub-dials for hours and minutes and the power reserve indicator.
Design and symbolism
The name “Longhorn” refers to the elongated lugs that give the case its distinctive silhouette, reminiscent of horns. The rhodium-plated, sunray-finished dial contrasts elegantly with black sub-dials. Through the sapphire caseback, the movement is visible and engraved with the phrase “Fortune Favours the Bold”, a fitting tribute to MB&F’s independent spirit and its 20 years of creative risk-taking.
