Bvlgari Eclettica High Jewellery Watch Collection
Bvlgari has unveiled its Eclettica collection in Milan, presenting an ambitious series of high jewellery watches that blur the boundaries between horology and artistic expression. The collection includes 15 transformable creations and around 50 unique pieces, with prices starting from approximately €1,000,000.
Conceived as a dialogue between watchmaking, sculpture, painting and architecture, the collection reflects the maison’s distinctive design language and deep connection to its Roman heritage. This approach is illustrated through several standout pieces.

Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream
The Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream is presented in a 38 mm white gold case and evokes a stylised vision of a star-filled sky, inspired by the night associated with the founding of Rome in 753 BC. The dial is crafted from black opal and set with sapphires and diamonds using a snow-setting technique, forming a layered interpretation of the Milky Way.
Stones of varying cuts and tones create depth and movement, while fine yellow gold lines trace constellations across the surface. A domed sapphire crystal enhances the visual effect, referencing the cabochon cut often used in Bvlgari jewellery.
The watch is paired with a flexible white gold bracelet inspired by the fan-shaped motifs found in the mosaics of the Baths of Caracalla. The bracelet alone is set with 1,140 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 5.2 carats.
Power is provided by the Piccolissimo BVP 100 calibre, a hand-wound movement offering around 30 hours of power reserve.
Pavone Bracelet
The Pavone Bracelet draws inspiration from the peacock, a symbol associated with the Roman goddess Juno and traditionally linked to beauty, pride and protection. The composition is centred on a fluid white gold bracelet that integrates the watch into a sculptural form.
The head of the peacock curves around the dial, while the flowing tail feathers extend across the wrist, echoing mosaic patterns reminiscent of Roman decorative art. The piece is extensively set with gemstones, including 1,725 round-cut diamonds totalling approximately 60.5 carats, alongside 78 buff-top rubellites and 45 buff-top emeralds.
Additional pear-shaped rubellites form the characteristic eye motifs within the feathers, while a faceted emerald defines the eye of the bird itself. Despite the complexity of the design, the watch retains a functional time display driven by the Piccolissimo BVP 100 calibre.
Serpenti Dea Secret
The Serpenti Dea Secret reinterprets one of Bvlgari’s most recognisable symbols. Executed in white gold, the watch takes the form of a serpent, with the head concealing a secret dial.
Three marquise-cut emeralds accentuate the head, while the dial itself is hidden within the open mouth and decorated with pavé-set diamonds. This interplay between concealment and ornament reflects the maison’s long-standing exploration of jewellery watches as transformable objects.
Despite its delicate appearance, the model is powered by the Piccolissimo BVP 100 movement. With a thickness of just 2.5 mm, the calibre enables extremely compact designs while maintaining mechanical integrity.
An Artistic Interpretation of Time
The Eclettica collection demonstrates Bvlgari’s continued commitment to merging horology with high jewellery and artistic craftsmanship. Through complex gem-setting, sculptural forms and miniature mechanical movements, these watches extend beyond conventional definitions of timepieces.
Each model functions not only as an instrument for measuring time but also as a wearable work of art, reflecting the maison’s distinctive creative identity.
