The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will return for its 45th edition this September, bringing international watch brands, independent makers and suppliers together for five days at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The fair will take place from 1 to 5 September 2026 alongside the 14th edition of Salon de TIME. Together, the two events will cover everything from OEM and ODM manufacturing and components to luxury watches, independent brands, limited editions and wearable technology.

This year's programme will run under the theme Sparkling Moments Through Time and will combine physical exhibitions with conferences, networking events and other industry activities.

Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair Returns for 45th Edition

More Than Watches at the 45th Hong Kong Fair

The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will cover several areas of the watchmaking supply chain. Dedicated zones will feature complete watches and clocks as well as parts and components, machinery, packaging and trade services.

The Pageant of Eternity exhibition will be dedicated to OEM and ODM timepieces.

The event is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Ltd.

The organisers will once again use the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format. Alongside the physical event, the Click2Match online business matching platform will operate from 25 August until 12 September.

Salon de TIME Brings Together International and Independent Brands

Salon de TIME will run alongside the main fair and showcase participating brands across six themed zones: World Brand Piazza, Craft Treasure, Microbrands, Renaissance Moment, Chic & Trendy and Wearable Tech.

Brands scheduled to appear include CIGA Design, Memorigin, Seagull, Shanghai, Pierre Lannier, WOLF, Zeppelin, Breda, Micromilspec, Vario, Scotch & Soda and Alba.

Independent brands will also be represented through the Swiss Independent Watchmaking Pavilion and Francéclat, including Briston, Herbelin and LIP.

The broad selection of exhibitors will bring established watchmakers, independent brands and newer names together during the five-day event.

Wearable Technology Joins Traditional Watchmaking

Technology will form another part of the 2026 event, particularly within Salon de TIME's Wearable Tech zone.

Among the products scheduled to be presented is a smartwatch from Watch2Care and Link2Care that organisers describe as the world's first to combine medical-grade Continuous Glucose Monitoring biosensor technology with a Traditional Chinese Medicine framework.

The wider programme will also examine the relationship between traditional watchmaking and emerging technologies.

On 1 September, the Hong Kong International Watch Forum will bring together representatives from major watch associations around the world. Topics will include global trade performance, market trends and the growing convergence of traditional watchmaking with artificial intelligence and smartwatch technologies.

Asian Watch Conference Returns on 2 September

The Asian Watch Conference will take place on 2 September, with discussions focusing on developments and opportunities affecting the regional watch industry.

Topics will include opportunities created by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and China's Greater Bay Area, as well as e-commerce growth and the future of the regional watch industry.

The programme across the five-day event will also include watch parades, networking events and buyer forums alongside the exhibitions and industry conferences.

Watch & Clock Design Competition Reaches Its 43rd Edition

The event will also host the 43rd Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition, with the winners due to be announced during the fair.

The 2026 competition has two themes. The student category will focus on Contours of the Breeze, while the open category will explore Transcending Time. Shortlisted entries will be displayed throughout the exhibition.

The Made-to-Sell Award will also return, recognising the student design considered to have the strongest commercial potential.

With the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair reaching its 45th edition and Salon de TIME returning for its 14th, the September programme will bring together watches, manufacturing, independent brands, design and emerging technology at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
