Lucky me, then! Being the first born of three sons, my father’s 1964 Calatrava will one day grace my wrist, as it did my father and his uncle before him. Originally gifted as an anniversary of friendship present, it was then bequeathed to my father by his uncle who had no children of his own.

And now, having a son of my own, the heirloom story will continue!
