TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed
TAG Heuer has unveiled a new limited-edition chronograph celebrating the legendary Festival of Speed held annually at Goodwood House in West Sussex. The Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed pays tribute to the enduring bond between motor racing and one of the most storied names in Swiss watchmaking.

Design and inspiration
The new chronograph features a 42 mm stainless steel case, combining brushed and polished surfaces in classic Carrera style. The dial is finished in British Racing Green, a shade long associated with the golden era of British motorsport. Its “Clous de Paris” guilloché texture at the centre creates a refined contrast against the bold red chronograph hands, evoking the aesthetics of dashboard instruments from vintage racing cars.
Completing the design is a brown perforated leather strap, reminiscent of the driving gloves worn by racing legends of the 1970s. The strap is fitted with a steel folding clasp engraved with the TAG Heuer logo, ensuring both comfort and secure wear during spirited driving or everyday use.
Movement and functionality
At the heart of the watch beats the TAG Heuer Calibre TH20-00, the latest generation of the brand’s in-house automatic chronograph movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 80 hours, the calibre provides chronograph and date functions, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. The movement’s bidirectional winding system ensures efficient energy delivery, while the column wheel and vertical clutch guarantee precise start and stop engagement.
The case is water-resistant to 100 metres, making the watch suitable for both motorsport events and daily wear.
Availability and edition
Production of the Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed is limited to 100 numbered pieces. The model will first be offered exclusively to members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club, before being made available to a wider audience through selected TAG Heuer boutiques and online channels.
Heritage connection
The collaboration between TAG Heuer and the Festival of Speed underscores the brand’s deep-rooted association with automotive culture. The Carrera line itself was born in 1963, inspired by the Carrera Panamericana road race, and has since evolved into one of TAG Heuer’s defining designs-synonymous with precision, endurance and speed.
With its distinctive British Racing Green dial and mechanical excellence, the Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed embodies both the spirit of Goodwood and the performance-driven DNA that has defined TAG Heuer for over six decades.
